Management technology

Vozua Chama provides software and integrations that help groups manage their own records and authorised transactions. The platform does not guarantee member loans, investment returns or group financial performance.

Internal group lending

Where a group enables loans, the group defines its eligible members, products, interest method, contribution requirements, approval process and repayment rules. Members see the applicable product terms before submitting a loan request.

Regulatory status

Vozua Chama is management software and does not itself register, license or authorise a Chama, SACCO, lender or other organisation. An organisation that is subject to registration, licensing, authorisation, reporting or other regulatory requirements remains responsible for meeting those requirements before offering regulated services.

Transaction charges

A 2.5% Vozua Pay transaction fee is disclosed for supported wallet transactions. For member contributions and repayments, the fee is charged separately from the group amount so the selected contribution or repayment value is recorded to the group in full. For outgoing group-wallet payouts, the fee is included in the total wallet debit shown before approval.

Authorisation

Outgoing group-wallet transactions require maker-checker approval: an authorised group official initiates and the Treasurer approves. A provider-confirmed transaction is recorded with a reference and members can be notified of completed withdrawals.
